Student Attendance

Student Attendance is essential for students to achieve their best. Student are recognized three times a year (November, March, June) for perfect attendance.

Regular and punctual attendance is expected of all students, and is mandated by the Alberta School Act. When a child cannot be in attendance, please call the school office at 780-463-8108  please leave a message on the answering machine when the office is closed. Please call every day your child is ill.

Hillview School operates a "Telephone Absentee Check" program in which parents are called if a child is absent and no notification has been received. It is extremely important that you provide the school office with current home, work and emergency telephone numbers. This program ensures the safety of all students attending Hillview School. 

Capital Health has provided the school with information regarding when you should send your child to school. If you would like this information please contact the school and we will be happy to send home the information.
