Special Education Classrooms

Currently we have a combined 1,2,3,4 classroom and a combined 4,5,6 classroom, both enrolling students of Opportunity programming. As well, we have a district Literacy program for qualifying Division two students. Starting in the 2009-10 school year Hillview school has entered in a district Reading Recovery project designed to assist struggling Division I students improve their reading skills. Also we provide programming for children ages 2.5 to 5 who present with severe special needs. This program provides a maximum of three years of funding to provide exceptional programming for these children. Children must have the appropriate testing completed to enter this program. Registration intakes begin in April.
